Failte – Kitchen mural

Created in 1997. The client brought me the central tile to incorporate in the mural, it was a historical Scottish tile from the end of the 1800’s. Because the historical tile was already so beautiful, I surrounded with a simple Gaelic border accompanied by the lions of the traditional Scottish flag. ‘Failte’ means welcome in Gaelic. The shelf at the base of the mural is done in clay using traditional architectural profile design. We install our own projects, so we can take care of the final details.
