Susan Richards, designs and creates an eclectic mix of classic and contemporary styles jewellery, describe as an “interesting mix of rustic and really eye catching gorgeous” and “the perfect, imperfect piece”.
With the shaping of the actual metal and incorporating found objects into the work, be it old silver spoons, Swarosvki crystals or vintage beads, Susan combined her love for up-cycled treasures with argentium silver (93.5 silver), a silver that tarnishes less, leaving these original pieces looking spectacular for much longer.
Inspiration for Susan is ever evolving as up-cycled art does, for the materials for each piece are carefully thought out and sought after.
Susan attended the Alberta College of Art in Calgary, AB. She lives in the Coldstream Valley, near Vernon, BC.
