Dina González Mascaró, is a sculptor who makes jewellery, born in Argentina. She received the Master of Fine Arts at UNLP, Buenos Aires.
González Mascaró is recognized for the dramatic force fields her pieces create. After more than 10 years of practicing and exhibiting in the art world, in 2010 she began framing her sculptural work within the context of the design world.
Her work has been awarded prestigious awards and grants, exhibited in international design fairs, published in books and featured in print and digital media, such as the New York Times and the National Post.
In 2011, she received both the Carter Wosk BC Creative Achievement Award and DOTY “The One to Watch” award.
Her work has been exhibited: Toronto Design Offsite Festival – Gallery 42 in Vancouver Bc – Sieraad Art Fair, Amsterdam, NL – Interior Design Show 13 in Toronto ON – Seymour Art Gallery in North Vancouver – The Other Gallery, Banff Centre for the Arts AB – TIAF Toronto International Art Fair -London Design Festival, UK.
